Be a Mensch
They were all mensches. Being as this is the All-Mensch Game, it only makes sense that all the boys playing in the All-Mensch Game are mensches. While everyone played beautifully, some performances deserve special attention. Dovid Feldman had a hat-trick (3 goals) for the Tsfat Mensches. Jason Kardon, one of the few non-Team Tsfat players on the Tsfat Mensches, had a fantastic game including an assist on one of Dovid Feldman’s goals. Ariel Baron played his usual tough-nosed style of soccer while Max Byer excelled both in goal and on the field. There was no denying the fact that the team of Feldman, Kardon, Baron, and Max Byer was a very difficult squad to beat. And, as if the squad wasn’t strong enough, brother to Dovid, Ezra Feldman, joined this squad and had a solid effort. The Team Tsfat Mensches had a truly outstanding effort today.

Though they lost 3-2 in the All-Mensch Game, The Yerushalayim Mensches played particularly well. Yossi Miller turned in his usual relentless effort while Matthew Kritz turned in a very composed and impressive effort. Two of the best the games all season for both of these boys. Brother to Yossi Miller, Sammy Miller, had a solid effort for the Yerushalayim Mensches. Also adding firepower to Team Yerushalayim was the assistant coach of Team Rafael in The Four Malochim League: Noach Aryeh Schwartz. Noach Aryeh’s brother, Yeshayahu, also joined the Yerushalayim Mensches for the All-Mensch Game. Each Schwartz brother scored a goal for the Yerushalayim Mensches. Noach Aryeh worked tirelessly all over the field, Yeshayahu spent a majority of his time playing goalie, and... both boys showed the fans truly impressive efforts.

Naftali Schwartz added a third goal and Yitzchok Singer may have played his best game of the season. The threesome of Mond, Schwartz, and Yitzchok Singer proved to be a lethal combination as Team Rafael/Uriel beat Team Michael/Gavriel 3-0. For Team Michael/Gavriel Robert Elenberg demonstrated that he can not only just score goals but he is also a fantastic defender. Yaakov Singer had numerous outstanding saves as a goalie. While Yosef Simcha Singer played his usual great all-around game and Dovid Nachman Fisher played his usual solid defense.
