The playoffs began last week in the Hapoel Soccer League with a number of good games on a wet afternoon.

In the sixth-eighth grade division, Tsfat Orange edged Yerushalayim Kelly, 3-2. Menachem ShemTov scored two goals for the winners while Naftali Simcha Swartz got the other.

Dovid Feldman scored both Kelly goals.

Chevron Scarlet rolled to a 5-1 victory over Tiveria Sky Blue. Saadia Tuchman got a hat trick while Noah Rosenfeld added two goals. Noah Zweben, Eli Bookstaber and Isaac Gould all had one assist. Jonathan Galitzer scored the lone Sky Blue goal.

In the fourth-fifth grade division, Avrohom Mond scored all the goals in B'nai Brak Yellow's 5-1 win over Tsfat Orange. Naftali Schwartz got the only Orange goal.

Netanya Royal did even better with a 5-0 victory over Tiveria Sky Blue. Binyamin Edelstein scored three goals while Yonatan Abrams added a goal and an assist, and Sammy Mellman got one goal.

Daniel Israel also had an assist in the win.

Yitzi Feldman scored the give Chevron Scarlet a 1-0 victory over Yerushalayim Kelly. Duvie Bergman added an assist.

The second-third grade division also saw plenty of offense. Netanya Royal rolled to an 8-0 victory over Tiveria Sky Blue in one game.

Nadiv Panitch led the way with three goals and two assists. Simon Schoen added two goals while Mory Gould did the same thing. Eli ShemTov got the final goal. Chaim Hes and Avi Miller each added assists.

Jacob Myers' four-goal performance helped Yerushalayim Kelly to a 9-0 victory over Chevron Scarlet. Adam Lombardo added three goals while Danny Zweben (one goal, two assists) and Aaron Weiss (one goal) also helped.

B'nai Brak Yellow had little trouble in an 8-0 victory over Tsfat Orange. Daniel Schopf and Tani Makovsky each scored three goals while Joshua Kotz got two.

The offense continued in Tsfat Orange's rout of Chevron Scarlet in a kindergarten-first grade division game. That's when Edan Friedman and Jordan Teitelbaum scored four goals apiece en route to a 13-0 rout.

Ari Schopf and Jake Ely both scored twice. Tani Levisohn scored the other goal.

Yerushalayim Kelly didn't have nearly as much fun, needing a Samuel Kushnir goal for a 1-0 victory over Tiveria Sky Blue.

On the girls' side, Tiveria Sky Blue/Tsfat Orange pulled out a 3-1 victory over Yerushalayim Kelly/Chevron Lime in the sixth-eighth grade division.

Adina Wakschlag scored all three goals while Alexandra Engel and Ateret Sultan-Reisler each added assists.

Rivka Malka Swartz score the lone Lime goal.

In the third-fifth grade division, Chevron Yellow and Tiveria Sky Blue scored shutout victories.

Hadasah Raskas scored the game-winning goal in Tiveria Sky Blue's 1-0 victory over Yerushalayim Kelly.

Talia Gross scored both goals in Chevron Yellow's 2-0 victory over Tsfat Orange. Emma Hofman added an assist.

Chevron Yellow used two goals from Rebecca Levine for a 2-0 victory over Tiveria Sky Blue in a kindergarten-second grade division game.

Rachellie Chittum got a hat trick to lead Tsfat Orange to a 4-1 victory over Yerushalayim Kelly. Abigail Salamon added the fourth goal
