Hapoel Soccer league's season will begin Sunday, as the group continues to grow. It starts with a "Soccer-cise" program for 3- and 4-year-olds that begins Sunday, but didn't do practice games last weekend like the other leagues.

There will be eight teams in the boys kindergarten and first-grade league. Eight teams also are going to play in the boys second- and third-grade group.

Six teams will be in both the boys fourth and fifth grade plus the sixth- through eighth-grade leagues.

The girls are going to have four teams in each of their four leagues. Here are the groupings for the girls: kindergarten/first grade, second and third grade, fourth and fifth grade, sixth through eighth grade.

Everything begins Sunday at Layhill Village Road and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington. For those interesting in signing up, check out the Web site at www.hapoelsoccer.com.
