The Hapoel spring soccer season ended last weekend with the grand finals in both the boys and girls divisions with six title games being played overall -- and plenty of goals being scored.

In the fourth-sixth grade division for the boys, the Maroon/Blue team pulled out a 12-9 decision over Black/Kelly.

David Carton led the winners with five goals. Yonatan Abrams added a hat trick while teammates Ben Shemony and Evan Santinsky both scored two apiece in the wild shootout. William Rosenthal got a game-high six goals for Black/Kelly, but it wasn't enough on this day. Sam Friedman added two more in the loss.

The Maroon/Royal and Black/Kelly battled to a 1-1 tie in the second-third grade division. Elijah Zack (Royal) and Aaron Weiss (Kelly) scored the goals for their teams in the tie.

The kindergarten-first grade division also had a tie as the Black/Kelly and Royal/Maroon teams played to a 6-6 deadlock. Jake Ely, Lucas Kaplan and Elior Waskow each scored twice for Black/Kelly in the tie. Justin Galitzer got a game-high four goals while Samuel Kushnir added the final two for Royal/Maroon's team.

There were plenty of goals scored on the girls' side as the winning team in each of the three divisions scored at least eight goals.

Starting with the fourth-sixth grade division, Royal/Kelly rolled to a 9-1 rout of the Maroon/Black team.

Lila Bilsky led the way with three goals. Emma Hofman, Hannah Mendelsohn and Tali Weiss all scored two goals apiece.

Danielle Galitzer scored the only Royal/Kelly goal.

The second-third grade game saw Royal/Kelly roll to an 8-4 victory over Maroon/Blue. Nesiah Ely led the way with five goals while Caroline Plum scored twice and Aliza Kotz once.

Rebecca Levine scored twice for Maroon in the losing effort.
