The Hapoel Soccer fall program began last weekend, and here's information on the Silver Spring games.

In the kindergarten-first grade division, the Orange team routed Aqua, 7-1. Zachary Salamon led the way with a five-goal effort. Benjamin Coplin got the other two goals and Avi Glassman added an assist.

Shmuel Yosef Hadar scored the lone Aqua goal.

Eidan Horn's hat trick gave the Maroon team a 3-1 victory over Teal. Shlomo Starkman scored the Teal goal, and Naftali Lipman got an assist.

The Gold team used two goals from Noam Roth and one from Yoni Eisen for a 3-1 victory over Navy. Zachary Winters came up with an assist in the victory.

Reuben Mellman scored the Navy goal.

The Orange and Aqua teams played to a scoreless tie in the second-third grade division.

Meanwhile, Gold and Navy finished in a 4-4 deadlock. Elijah Zack led Navy with three goals while Elior Waskow had one.

Justin Galitzer scored twice for Gold, which also got goals from Joshua Myers and Sam Glick.

The Teal team nipped Maroon, 2-1, in the final game in this division. Lucas Kaplan and Noah Mendelsohn each scored a goal while Coby Melkin and Zev Roberts notched an assist.

Samuel Kushnir had an assist for Maroon in the defeat.

The Orange, Gold and Maroon teams won in the fourth-fifth grade division. Evan Goldman scored two goals and Aaron Weiss added a goal and an assist to give Orange a 3-2 victory over Aqua. Jacob Glassman also had an assist.

Eliezer Shemtov scored both Aqua goals.

The Gold team beat Navy, also by a 3-2 margin. Daniel Schopf and Nadiv Panitch each led the winners with a goal and an assist. Nadav Anolik scored the other goal and Matan Friedman also had an assist.

Simon Schoen scored both Navy goals and Aryeh Roberts got two assists.

Jacob Myers scored twice to give Maroon a 2-1 victory over Teal. Mory Gould got an assist for the winners and Chaim Hes got the lone Teal goal.

Orange edged Aqua, 1-0, in the sixth- through ninth-grade division. Jesse Zweben scored the only goal while Gil Melkin got an assist.

Navy got goals from Binyamin Edelstein, Arthur Schoen and Yaakov Fink for a 3-0 shutout of Gold. Meir Komarow added an assist.

Saadia Tuchman scored three times and Jason Kardon added one more to give Maroon a 4-1 victory over Teal. Sammy Mellman scored the only Teal goal and Ari Levisohn got an assist.

On the girls' side, there wasn't a whole lot of offense in the sixth- through eighth-grade division as the Orange and Aqua team played to a scoreless tie. Gold blanked Navy, 1-0, on an Emma Hofman goal. Danielle Galitzer got the only assist.

The third-fifth grade division saw more of the same as Orange and Aqua battled to a scoreless tie. Rebecca Levine's goal let Navy edge Gold, 1-0, in the other game in that division.

In the kindergarten through second-grade division, Aqua edged Orange, 1-0. Rachel Levine got the only goal with an assist from Gabi Riffkin.

Ella Gantman's hat trick carried Navy to a 4-1 victory over Gold. Orly Strauss got the other Navy goal. Adielle Tuchman scored the Gold goal.
