The Hapoel fourth-grade basketball team remained perfect last weekend, improving to 3-0 with another victory in Montogmery County action.

The Seahawks rolled to a 26-16 victory over Griffins II last Sunday. Danny Zweben paced Hapoel with 14 points, giving the team over half of its offense.

But he also helped in other ways, getting five rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. Jacob Glassman added six points and six rebounds.

Jonah Riffkin, Mory Gould and Eli Horn also pitched in.

Riffkin had a team-high 10 rebounds while Gould sparked the defense with seven steals. Horn also played tough defense throughout.

This victory followed an even more impressive 24-4 rout of the Wyngate Wizards the previous weekend.

Zweben led the team with 10 points. He again showed his all-around game by making four steals and blocking two shots.

Gould might have had the best overall game, finishing with six points and 12 rebounds. He also added four steals, three assists and two blocks.

Aaron Weiss also had a stellar defensive effort with five steals. Glassman helped with five rebounds and four steals while Riffkin added five rebounds and a block.

Weiss, Glassman and Akiva Glashofer each scored two points while Eli Horn and Noah Green all played tough defense.

The Seahawks will try to improve to 4-0 this Sunday when they play Caveman Cave at 1 p.m. at Ritchie Park Elementary School.
