The Hapoel fifth-grade basketball team improved to 2-0 last weekend with a win over the Eagles in a Montgomery County league game.

The Seahawks (Hapoel's nickname) started out slowly and rallied to pull out a 21-14 victory over the Eagles.

Danny Zweben led the way with eight points, seven steals and five assists. Jonah Rifkin also came up big with six points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Zweben and Mory Gould also did a good job of helping the Seahawks beat the Eagles' press in the fourth quarter, letting the offense set up and get going. Zweben, Gould and Eli Horn helped the Seahawks cause damage with their press.

The Seahawks also got help rebounding from Akiva Glashofer, who did a very good job on the offensive end. The rebounding, timely shooting and good defense helped the Seahawks rally for the victory.
