The Hapoel Seahawks continued their strong early-season start in Montgomery County basketball last weekend.

Hapoel's fifth-grade basketball team didn't have much trouble in posting a 31-16 victory over the Wolverines on Sunday.

Mory Gould led the way with 11 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists. Eli Horn had another strong game with eight points plus four rebounds.

Jonah Riffkin and Daniel Zweben both scored five points as part of strong all-around performances. Riffkin also had eight rebounds to help on the boards while Zweben added six steals, five assists and two blocks.

Zweben and Gould played a big part in helping the Seahawks do a good job against the Wolverines' full-court pressure defense. And on Hapoel's defense, Jacob Glassman forced several turnovers and made two blocks.
