Goals were harder to come by in the second week of the Hapoel soccer season.

On the boys side, there were shutouts in both games of the kindergarten-first- grade division. Benjamin Winters got the game-winning goal with help from Eitan Starr as Green edged Gold, 1-0.

The other game in that division saw Blue blank Maroon, 3-0. Menachem Abrams scored two goals, and Asher Falk got the other. Simon Goldberg and Zvi Kristt each added an assist.

There were three shutouts in the second-third grade division as Orange, Black and Gold each posted victories.

Noam Roth's goal gave Orange a 1-0 victory over Blue. Ben Zatman got the only assist.

Eidan Horn scored to give Black a 1-0 decision over Maroon in their game. The Gold team found a little more offense in its 3-0 shutout of Green.

Gavriel Bernstein led the way with two goals and one assist. Jayden Matusow scored the other goal. Moshe Gottlieb added an assist.

Goals were even tougher to find in the fourth-fifth grade division -- as just one was scored in the three games played.

Orange and Blue played to a scoreless tie. Maroon and Black did the same thing in their game.

But Gold got the only goal in this division in a 1-0 victory over Green. Sam Weisman scored the game-winner with help from Elijah Zack.

The sixth-grade division saw two more shutouts as Green and Blue won without giving up a goal.

Reuben Winston scored to give the Green team a 1-0 victory over Gold. Eli Feldman came up with an assist on the game-winner.

In the other game. Blue rolled to a 3-0 victory over Maroon. Nadiv Panitch led the way with a goal and two assists. Eli Horn got a goal and an assist while Jonah Riffkin helped with a goal.

There were some shutouts on the girls' side, starting with the oldest group. In the sixth grade division, the Green and Gold teams played to a 0-0 tie while Blue edged Maroon, 1-0.

Eliana Tuchman got the lone Blue goal. Avital Jacobs pitched in with the assist.

The third-fifth grade division saw more goals than most as Green and Gold finished in a 3-3 tie.

For Green, Shana Lowenstein led with two goals and one assist. Ilana Winter helped with one goal and one assist. Avital Fink also got an assist.

Daniella Kaufman (two goals) and Nesia Ely (one goal and two assists) paced the Gold team in the deadlock. Dalia Skolnick also notched an assist.

The Maroon team had little trouble in its 4-0 rout of Blue. Caroline Plum, Rebecca Babitz, Yacova Mayberg and Adielle Tuchman all scored one goal. Babitz also came away with an assist in this victory.

The kindergarten-second-grade division's only game saw Gold/Green top Maroon/Blue, 3-1. Ava August led the winners with two goals while Gabriella Riffkin got one.

Michal Eizenstat scored the Maroon/Blue's only goal.
